FEBRUARY'S SHRINE SERVICES

Shrine Director's Letter...

My dear brothers, sisters, boys and girls:
As we enter into Lenten Season, I do hope that you and your family will take time to reflect on the life of Our Lord Jesus Christ. His great love for us and how He persevered in His mission to save us all. So great was His love for us, that Jesus endured all sufferings to save the world. “Love is patient; love is kind.” (Corinthians 13:4)

In this “Year of Faith” the Holy Father Benedict XVI, encourages us to focus on Jesus and to learn more about His life. Gather your family together in the evenings and read the Bible together, discuss what you have read.

Reflect and share... During this Lenten Season, we are making it available to you various mini-series Lenten workshops to enhance your faith and bring you closer. Come to these series and be blessed! Grow closer to Jesus with us!

This year is our jubilee year! The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette was founded by Fr. René Sauvé, M.S. on December 7, 1953 and The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette began their missionary work 60 years ago!  We are so grateful to Our Lord Jesus and Our Lady of La Salette for the many blessings we have received throughout these 60 years.  The people God has placed in our paths, those we have ministered to and the many faithful friends who have supported us and our mission here at Our Lady’s Marian Shrine. The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette.

We hope that we will be able to deepen our faith and be fruitful “Making Her Message Known To All Her People” here in the Attleboro area and spreading Our Lady’s mission throughout the world...like a ripple in the ocean one drop can make a difference.

We thank you, for your love for Our Lady’s Shrine and for Her Missionaries!

Come be with us throughout this jubilant year. We will hold extra special services commemorating our  60th Anniversary.

   Peace!
Rev. Brother Bob, M.S.
